MARTE DAHL: Kroppsverk

Med utgangspunkt i kroppen, inviterer denne utstillingen publikum til å utforske hvordan objekter, materialer og omgivelser former bevegelse og interaksjon. Gjennom skulpturelle kostymer, installasjon og performative uttrykk, undersøker kunstneren hvordan materialenes egenskaper presenterer ulike muligheter og begrensninger for kroppen.

Utstillingen er et møtepunkt mellom kunstformer som koreografi, skulptur og lyd. Her presenteres omgivelsene som en forlengelse av kroppen, der objekter og materialer blir aktive medskapere i en kontinuerlig dialog mellom bevegelse, lyd og rom.

BIO: Marte Dahl (f. 1989) bor og arbeider i Oslo. Dahl utforsker bevegelse og interaksjon gjennom skulpturell kostymedesign og performance. Med en mangfoldig kunstnerisk praksis som omfatter koreografi, materialer, lyd og hverdagslige objekter, undersøker hun hvordan disse elementene former vårt forhold til egen kropp og omgivelsene våre.

Dahl har en MFA fra Kunstakademiet i Bergen (2022) og BFA fra Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (2018). Hennes verk har tidligere blitt vist ved Akureyri Art Museum, Visningsrommet USF, Studio17, Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Hordaland Kunstsenter/Bergenhus Festning, Kunsthall 3,14 og Kunstbanken senter for samtidskunst.

ANNIKA SELLIK: Soft Garden

This exhibition is part of an on-going research: "Soft Garden" on the sounds of the undercommons. The research explores relations between the embodiment of sound, spaces and resonance on the bases of communities as well as the individuals. An attempt to accent the voices of voiceless and their meanings in community building, such as observing bio-acoustics.

SOFT GARDEN is a sound installation embodying the sounds of the Undercommons. I will be using field recordings of a swarm in several multi-channel installations (controlled by Max), surface transducers placed on a floor, covered by salt (soaked in various shades by natural juices – from hand picked berries). So, the transducers, amplifiers, electricity converters and cables would not be seen – just the vibrating bodies of sculpted salt piles which become paintings on the floor.

As for using field recording of bees, I am referring to them as life providers and community builders and holders. The sound together with the sculpted salt will create the space on its own and become an api-therapeutic space, referring also to the problematics concerning bees (and other life providing endangered species) in contemporary climate and environmental context. The installation is site-specific and will follow the dynamics of the exhibition space as taking embody

BIO: Annika Sellik is Oslo based artist mainly working with reflections of sound exploring the possibilities of spatial and site-sensible audio installation, her practice is varied and socially alert based on speculative research and perception, asking critical questions on norms of perceiving and understanding of borders and values in an approach of community building.

As consciously using slow processes and looking for sustainable solutions, such as traditional woodworking, making salt from local seawater by using sunlight, collecting berries for pigments, herbs for local community etc - radical care taking becomes an act providing mental space to observe, reflect and to honour the materials and to question her own thoughts and presence in contemporary context. Her practice often manifests in transformations or reflections of spaces and spheres rather than using space as a context to show her work. annikasellik@gmail.com

For å komme til Blaker, er tog den enkleste metoden. Ta Kongsvingerbanen (R14) fra Oslo S (ca. 30 min) eller Lillestrøm til Blaker stasjon, som ligger rett ved Blaker skanse. Med bil er det ca. 45 km fra Oslo, og stedet ligger i Lillestrøm kommune, 21 km nordøst for Lillestrøm sentrum. 

Med tog (anbefalt):

Linje R14: Går en gang i timen mellom Oslo S og Kongsvinger.

Reisetid: Ca. 30 minutter fra Oslo S 

Stasjon: Blaker stasjon. 

Med bil:

Fra Oslo: Følg hovedveinettet (f.eks. E6 nordover og avkjøring mot Lillestrøm/Kongsvinger) ca. 45 km.

Fra Lillestrøm: Følg veien mot Blaker (ca. 21 km). 

Til Blaker Skanse:

Gå av på Blaker stasjon, kryss Eidsveien og gå opp Skanseveien for å nå Blaker skanse.
